The series IMPRESSIONS is marked by the construction codes that were an integral part of the artist's profession and life. The pieces come from a group of designs created over two and a half years, on pieces of paper, travelogues and napkins. Some come from memory while others come from new impulses that appear to the artist while being motivated by the sequence of creating. Each piece is born from a mix of criteria, prints, and material that are transmuted to the metal through the artist's hand.

In this series, the explosion of color is a sign of freedom and joy, an intimate encounter between the being and the spirit. It is a culmination of those very images squeezed into memory erupting without order as the hands search for paths and answers.

La serie IMPRESSIONS obedece a un envite interno que está marcado por los códigos del quehacer de la construcción que fueron parte de la vida del artista. Las piezas, provienen de un cúmulo de diseños realizados a lo largo de dos años y medio, sobre pedazos de papel, en cuadernos de viaje, servilletas de un restaurante o simplemente en la memoria y en otros casos nuevos impulsos que aparecieron motivados por la secuencia del momento curativo, todos una amalgama de criterios, de impresiones, que son trasmutadas al metal a través de su mano.

En esta serie la explosión de color es una muestra de libertad y alegría, un encuentro intimo entre es ser y el espíritu, un colofón de imágenes, que apretujadas en el recuerdo, erupcionan sin orden pero  tomados de la mano en busca de caminos y respuestas.
